Ban advice?

Post by ibm5155 » Wed Dec 05, 2012 2:33 pm

So is there a way like a votekick but not to kick, just for advice a specific player for stop doing something...

Like I got banned from aow server for non explained reasons...
First because i killed a zombieman (dafuk)
Second because of griefing (I was utily guy, and i was removing my own turrents, to put in another place, because the place that they´re wasn´t helping...)

I think it would be nice to see an advice, like "player x, stop griefing" or some kind of mensage, then if he/she continue doing that he could get kicked/banned ^^

They can give a reason for a kick, and you'll be able to see it, also a player or the server could tell what you're doing wrong.

But vote kick was disabled, and on the second case i was reading the mensages and I couldn´t read all, it came like 2/3 mensages per second O_o

You can view past messages in the console.

Could be done w/ ACS, but you should really pay attention to the CHAT more often since that's where you get warned for this kind of stuff.

If you violate common sense, then there's no amount of chat that will stop you from doing dumb stuff.
