Summary0000406: Bots/players in (T)LMS/Survival vanish upon death if compat_instantrespawn is set to 1
DescriptionWhen bots/players lose their lives in (T)LMS/Survival online, the player bodies simply vanish. The "Death" state isn't displayed.
Steps To Reproduce1. Start a survival server. Set compat_instantrespawn and teamdamage to 1.
2. Connect 2 clients to the server.
3. Join the game with both clients.
4. When the warm-up countdown ends, kill client A with client B.
Additional InformationOnline, player corpses in (T)LMS/Survival disappear when the corresponding players die and turn into spectators. Is this the intended behavior?

Not so sure about this one. Should have some deeper investigation (if it still happens that is though I would assume it still does) before tacking this on botscript. Botscript should have no direct effect on the gamesim.. though Carn did include ACS_Execute in the thing...

Can someone build and test if'https://bitbucket.org/zandronum/zandronum-sandbox/commits/282329dfb5264bd3842e742d43f5e78f29e797e8 [^]' fixes the issue and doesn't introduce any regression?

It seems the corpses still disappeared online with the above build.

Not instantly as before, though. I made sure the behavior with and without compat_instantrespawn is the same. Can you confirm this?

Regarding the body disappearing after death in general, this is to be asked to who implemented the spectating mechanism.

In that case, yes the behavior is the same with or without the flag on. You can see parts of the death state before the corpse disappears.

I tested with 3.0-160814 and the fixed corpse behavior was intact.
