Summary0003142: sv_suddendeath does not apply to FFA deathmatch
DescriptionSelf-explanatory. sv_suddendeath seems to only affect specific game modes, deathmatch not being one of them. This seems to be a bit of an oversight, either 1) due to dm being primarily played with frag limits instead of time limits or 2) players just accepting that "Draw" was the server setting.

There is no good reason to have "draw" as the only option option for dm games when time runs out. Other ports and games offer "sudden death" or "over time" to see who can edge ahead by 1 frag.

In LMS, sudden death behaves so that the person with the most amount of health wins.
CTF, if the scores are tied 2-2, whoever scores the 3rd flag wins.
Duel, if scores are tied, whoever ends up with the highest score wins by whatever means (ie if one player suicides, they lose)
DM sudden death should behave the same way duel does, wherein the highest score wins, as opposed to "next frag" or "damage taken"

Having ties decided by one frag adds excitement to the game IMO
