Summary0001551: Hexen homing projectiles no longer reflect to the user
DescriptionIn vanilla Hexen if a homing projectile is reflected with the discs of reflection they chase the actor that shot it, now they are just pushed back but still keep chasing you. This affect multiplayer balance in maps were players can assemble the weapon 4.

Does this happen in zdoom?

yes, until 2.6.0 fixed it

note that it will only be for the wraithverge and bloodscourge (and the bosses that use them), as the zan/zdoom behavior for all other disc'd homing projectiles match vanilla

while testing 3.0-r150509-1736, it seems the bloodscourge behaves correctly offline and online and the wraithverge offline, however the wraithverge online can lead to desyncs

i have uploaded a demo (build used here:'https://www.dropbox.com/s/la0k16be1jw79r3/zandronum-3.0-r150509-1736-bd5bc09-windows.zip?dl=0 [^]') that shows an online desync involving the wraiths

when i deflect wraiths: the wraiths do actually get reflected and start attacking the shooter, but also seem to still be attacking me

when i reach 0 health: my weapon will lower and using the disc or shooting will make no noise, but i can still shoot/use items

The wraithverge hasn't behaved much better in 2.1.2 either. I guess the whole thing lacks netcode. This should be in its own ticket.

EDIT: No, it's definitely regressed. I'll take a look.

The worst of this should be fixed in the latest beta build. The wraiths will still desync but at least the player shouldn't be able to turn into a zombie.
