Summary0000105: 'server picks teams (ST/CTF)' applies to non-team modes
DescriptionIf enabled in non-team modes, your frag counter will be displayed in a team color.

Then after a map change ('changemap' or exit switch) everyone will look like they're on a team in terms of colors on the scoreboard, regardless of the current game mode.
Steps To Reproduce1. Start an offline skirmish with the flag enabled in cooperative mode, MAP01. Add some bots.
2. Look at the scoreboard. Your frag counter will be displayed in a team color.
3. Push the exit switch or use 'changemap' in the console.
4. Once in the next map, look at the scoreboard again. Everyone is on a team, color wise.
Additional InformationTested in 98c and 98d-r2980.

For me, it did happen sometimes online in coop games. My name was coloured in either red or blue.

Found another bug with this DMflag. It occurs both offline and online.

After a "changemap" map change, spectators are also put on a team. So if you're put on the blue team as a spectator, you can hear the announcer say "you win!" if the blue team wins.

Noticed this in a "Megaman 8-Bit DM" TLMS server.

Seems to have fixed.
EDIT: some notes I saw, if you exit normally by pressing exit switch, the game plays normally but if you use changemap, the monsters will dissapear (thats because the flag NO MONSTERS is enabled which this can be simple resolved by no) and the weapons will appear as it is DM (I mean at the start of map are all weapons)

Looks like it fixed the first issue.

But spectators are still put on a team after a map change in team modes.

EDIT:

I can confirm what FistMarine is saying about DM weapons appearing after a "changemap" map change offline. But this also happens in 98c, with or without "server picks teams (ST/CTF)" set to true. But there has to be bots in-game for it to happen.

And "+showscores" has no effect if you're alone in coop/survival offline.

I can't reproduce this. Can you tell me exactly what you do to get a spectator on a team?

There has to be at least 1 player on each team before the "changemap" map change, as it doesn't seem to happen when you're alone.

1. Start an offline TDM skirmish, MAP01.
2. Add two bots. One joins the red team and the other joins the blue team.
3. Enter spectator mode.
3. "changemap map01" in the console.

Actually, it doesn't always happen. Keep repeating the "changemap" map change while 2 bots are in-game. You'll alternate between being a spectator and being on the red/blue team.

EDIT:

As for the "+showscores" issue. Is multiplayer emulation supposed to be enabled automatically whenever you start an offline skirmish? If not, it's not a bug.

I see, I only tested this with one player, should be fixed now.

FYI, multiplayer emulation is only activated when necessary, i.e. when bots are used or in non-coop modes.
