I've never really seen the point in 'monster skins'. They usually look shoddy or awkward, and not just in the sense that they're often badly or lazily recoloured; most monsters use three frames for an attack animation (e.g. swinging their arm), but Doomguy only uses two (aim/fire). So we get a Baron Of Hell moving his hand from above his head to in front of his groin repeatedly, every 4 tics. And going fullbright with it.

And then of course, there's the number of frames in a death animation...

The only unarguably horrible monsters who look like players are the hexen bosses.. -if playing a mappack for first time with others and not expecting one of them to ninja-

I also have this skin hanging around my flash drive if you want to add it. It's an 8-bit colored Marine. It comes complete with an 8-bit Doomguy face. It's mostly a simple color translation I made in SLADE. But still neat, nonetheless.

The FreeDoomGuy skin has a misnamed STFEVL0 lump. Should be FDFEVL0; at the moment, everyone suddenly morphs into Karl Urban when they're healthy and find a new weapon.

FIXED!

Barry's nearly done. Found my various Doomguy skins too. I'll sort through them and clean up pixels where necessary, and ditch the crappier ones that I made for the sake of making, then post the results.
